Easy Peasy Lentil Soup!!

Ok,

So its the end of the week and your thinking, "I don't want to exert or have the energy needed to make my toddler a nutritious, but more importantly, delicious meal. The thought of a drive to the nearest artery clogging fast food joint is totally tempting...

Have no fear!! I have a two can recipe for YUMMY and super healthy soup for the kiddos!!

Here is the list:

1 can of Amy's Organic Tomato Bisque
1 can of cooked, low sodium, organic lentils and rice (if you can't find, just get a can of lentils and add the instant rice)
2 slice of whole grain bread



Instructions:
Dump the two cans into a pot and bring to a simmer. When warmed to suit, remove and serve.
Toast your bread for dipping.

For an extra kick, take some string cheese slivers and place on top of soup for a neat garnish. Or add a dollop of sour cream.

My 17 month old ate a TON of this meal and still asks for it!!
